You have heard of the weird phenomenon called Podcasts? And you want to get started? Well, have a look at this list! I DEMAND YOU!
If you don't listen to podcasts... GET STARTED!
The Nerdist:
A podcast with Chris Hardwick, who talks about every geeky. Video games, movies, new technology, and so on. Its both funny and educational!
The YoGPoD: Well, this is pretty niche, as it doesn't run anymore, but Lewis and Simon(who currently runs the seconds biggest gaming channel on youtube) from the Yogscast is funny as hell, they did manage to record 45 episodes on its 3 years running time. They talk about EVERYTHING - If you are a gamer, this would improve your experience
Radiolab: Okay, this does infact require some amount of focus, if you want to know every little detail. Radiolab is a podcast for the trivia nut, its hugely entertaining if you do hunger after some new useless knowledge, like blue was the last base color to be added, and before people said that the ocean was wine red.
Intelligence Squared: Don't be a square! This podcast is pretty political. They talk about religion, politics, war, pretty much everything just a bit "taboo" centered. They do cover both sides of the stories, and is hugely educational aswell!

Radio Le Mans' Midweek Motorsport. Comes out on Wednesdays and is the only Motorsport podcast you will need. The podcast features the cast of Radio Le Mans (obviously) and includes Marshall Pruet from racer.com and others. They don't just focus on Le Mans style racing, but all forms of Motorsport. They are hugely knowledgeable, but also don't take it all that seriously. Very good stuff.
Nerdist is awesome. Find the ones with Paul Paulson and Maurice LeMarche (Pinky and the Brain) or John DiMagio and Billy West (Bender and Fry). Amazing. Want to hear Slash talk about his love of dinosaurs? check. Tom Hanks is awesome on there as well.

Kinda deliberately didn't add any automotive related podcasts, but nice addition for those who don't know about it! Cheers

You didn't say there were rules!!!
Adam Savage's Untitled podcast is good fun and provides some neat tips on prop making and DIY.
The Unofficial Guide's Disney Dish podcast is really good if you are into the engineering and history of the Disney and Universal parks. Some cool stories.
This Week in Tech is a long time staple for me. I used to love me some TechTV. You don't need to be an IT person to enjoy it. I'm not.

I can't listen to public radio on the weekends. Otherwise I might get trapped inside of my car by Radiolab, "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me", or This American Life.
I'm glad they upload the podcast versions of all those shows.
